Which courier company do you use for your deliveries?
We use trusted UK couriers to deliver our chess sets, including Parcelforce.
How long will delivery take?
UK orders placed and paid for before 12 noon are usually shipped the same working day. Our free delivery service usually takes up to 3 working days. Overseas orders are sent by airmail courier and may take longer to arrive.
If I order before 12 midday, will my chess set arrive the next working day?
Yes, UK orders placed before 12 noon, Monday to Friday, are usually dispatched the same working day for next working day delivery.
If I am not home to sign for my delivery, what happens?
Tracking information is supplied so you can follow your delivery. If delivery is missed, the courier will normally return the parcel to the local hub and attempt delivery again.
Do you offer express delivery?
Yes, express delivery is offered as standard at no extra charge on eligible UK orders. Orders placed before 12 noon, Monday to Friday, are usually delivered the next working day between 8:30am and 6:00pm. Deliveries to Northern Ireland, the Highlands and Islands may take 2 working days.
Returns FAQ's
Can I return my chess set for a full refund if I do not like it?
Yes, if you are not completely satisfied, you have 30 days from the date of purchase to return the product for a refund or store credit. This is extended to 60 days over the Christmas period. Customers must notify us within 14 days of delivery. Goods must be returned unused and in brand new condition.
How do I return an item?
Please package the goods securely and use a signed-for insured postal service. You will need to provide proof of return and postage cost. No refund can be given for goods damaged due to poor return packaging. Please allow 7–10 days for return processing.
If I return an item, is the postage covered?
Postage fees are generally non-refundable. However, if ChessMaze UK has made a shipping error, the return or replacement postage cost will be covered.
