An unusual, yet popular set of chessmen. In contrast to the popular Staunton design, the bishop doesn't have a mitre but is smooth and featureless all the way around. The knight, however, features some detailed carvings and is of the "Russian Knight" style.

Hand-carved and turned using rosewood and boxwood hardwoods, this set would make a great feature to any chessboard.
