In 1972 James Robert Fischer and Boris Spassky fought in what was aptly named the "match of the century" To mark this legendary battle we present this superb ebony and boxwood chess set which is styled on one of the two sets used in that special matchplay. The set is also embellished with what is knows as king side stamping (please see images for reference)
