1851 Boxwood Chessmen

A sublime set of chess pieces, created by the Official Staunton Chess Company. Beautifully hand carved knights and meticulously turned and polished pieces. This set represents an accurate reproduction of a Jaques of London set, circa 1800's.

It is incredibly well carved and every part of this set exudes quality. The king side rooks and knights bear the hallmarks of that era with embellishments that add to the aesthetics of this design.
